On June26th, the FURN360 consortium organized the webinar – Circular Economy in the furniture sector: Future skills for a climate neutral industry, with the participation of 100 attendees.
In this webinar, industry representatives and circularity experts provided insights on the state of circularity in the furniture sector: Gabriella Kemendi, secretary general of EFIC – European Furniture Industries Confederation; Ilma Stankeviciute, learning designer at the Ellen MacArthur Foundation; and Juan Carlos Alonso, CENFIM circular economy expert in the SAWYER project, shared their views on the current state of circular economy in the furniture, the necessary skills for a successful implementation of circularity in the industry, and highlighted forecasted scenario for the furniture sector in 2030.
Finally, the results from the FURN360 project were presented with a focus on the FURN360 online training course, a key tool for furniture and related organizations to improve their knowledge on circularity.
